Restaurant Anak Padang (அனக் படங் உணவகம்) is one of the few places in Penang that serves authentic Nasi Padang (நாசி பதங்) , distinguishing itself from other outlets that often claim to offer Nasi Padang but end up serving Nasi Kandar instead. The food quality is exceptional, especially the Gulai Ayam (குலாய்) ,
Ayam Rendang (ரெண்டாங்) and Daun Ubi Tumbuk Lemak (மசித்த உருளைக்கிழங்கு இலைகள்) , which truly hit the mark. These dishes are rich in flavor and satisfy my Indian palate perfectly. The Pekedal was quite good, but the Kangkung Belacan was terrible. However, the prices are on the higher side.
